"Right to Refuse Policy" by Pastor Peter Thomas

RIGHT TO REFUSE POLICY

Dear World:
In light of increasing Governmental, Political, and Judicial hostilities towards religious freedom, this open letter is now written in a litigious society in order to address the subject of whether people of faith are within their rights to refuse to adapt. Governments ( Federal, State and Local ) should not seek to interfere with inalienable rights. Inalienable rights are natural rights that cannot be repealed by the laws of man. Among which is the right to obey the Creator of the Universe, Jesus Christ.

I speak primarily in the first person, Peter Thomas ( I ), and then collectively, Pastor Peter Thomas and Associates (We). I was a sinner, I am not a sinner. Anything morally objectionable that can ever be presented before me will be scrutinized judiciously by the examining lens of what is written in the Scriptures. The Scriptures ( Holy Writ, The Bible ) used for references is the good old Authorized King James Version Bible, Original Year 1611 (translated between 1604 - 1611). There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism. Only one God, and I am compelled to obey God.

Be it known, therefore, that I reserve the right to refuse anything morally objectionable. We endeavor to consistently operate in accordance with sincerely held religious beliefs and doctrines. We ( I, Pastor Peter Thomas and all Associates ) do not conform to the world's dictates ( Governments, Media and Fashion Industry ). I will not obey any law requiring me to violate my right to free speech by compelling me to use my talents, gifts, abilities and assets to express a message with which I disagree and that would violate my right to the free exercise of religion.
Hereby, let it be known to all the world, I serve the Lord Jesus Christ, the only wise God, my Savior. The compelling interests of individuals, businesses, politicians, entities and the False-church are secondary in nature and therefore subordinate to the Creator of all. At no time will I ( or anyone associated with me ) be compelled to sin.

Violating any principle of the Scriptures is not an option. It is not up for debate. For your reference, kindly see the below verses:

Ephesians 5:11
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Ephesians 5:7
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Leviticus 20:7
Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 20:24
I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.

Leviticus 20:26
And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

Acts 4:19-20
19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
Yes, I concur with Apostle Peter in the Book of Acts, chapter 5, verse 29. Read.
Acts 5:29
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

2 Corinthians 6:17-18
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2 Corinthians 7:1
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
To all councils, listen to what "one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law" [Acts 5:34], had to say regarding Peter and John - the Apostles. Read on.

Acts 5:38-39
38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:
39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

Be well advised, that you can never overthrow the counsel of God. I am well within my rights to refuse and forsake sin. Read:

Hebrews 11:23-27
23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

Anything morally objectionable to me is sin, for it is not of faith. If it is not of faith, it is sin. Activities participated in, outside of Scriptural faith, is sin. ( See Romans 14:23 ).

Romans 14:23
For whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

I "depart from evil, and do good". [Psalms 37:27].

Titus 3:8
This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

I am instructed by the Word of God to continue "holding faith, and a good conscience" [1 Timothy 1:19]. The Bible commands me to be "of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned" [1 Timothy 1:5]. Faith unfeigned means that I cannot fake my faith. I don't check my faith at the door anywhere I go. It is a lifestyle change. My faith brings me to believe in God in all of my life's activities. As stated earlier, I was a sinner, I am not a sinner.
Sin not. ( See Psalms 4:4, Ephesians 4:26 ). ( See also Romans 6:12-23).

Romans 6:12
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If you are one that seeks to justify lascivious living, remember the words of Jesus in Luke 16:15. It "is abomination in the sight of God".

Luke 16:15
And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
